Ha Ha The REAL Maverick think McCain is NOT

Not that anyone would care but there is a USA Family in Texas that is NAMED Maverick. It is interesting how their name became part of our lexicon.

In the 1800s, Samuel Augustus Maverick went to Texas and became known for not branding his cattle. He was more interested in keeping track of the land he owned than the livestock on it, Ms. Maverick said; unbranded cattle, then, were called “Maverick’s.” The name came to mean anyone who didn’t bear another’s brand.

A side note is that a decendent of the Maverick coined the word “gobbledygook”

...in frustration at the convoluted language of bureaucrats.

Well anyway McCain is not a Maverick by the REAL Mavericks opinion... not as if anyone cares...
